TNA IMPACT RESULTS: 7/5/12

In Men's Division action:

TNA T.V. Champion #33 Devon pinned #28 Crimson. The Champ picked up 17 points plus 218 bonus points to rank him ahead of Crimson. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. Crimson lost 15 points.

#8 Jeff Hardy pinned #7 James Storm. Hardy picked up 24 points. The Cowboy lost 8 points plus his 1112 bonus points. NOTE: Bound For Glory Series points have no bearing on the NAWR.

Unranked Flip Casanova pinned Dakota Darsaw, coming off the Inactive List ranked 96. Flip earned  4 points, Darsow lost 30 points. 

Kenny King, 1/2 of the ROH Tag Team Champions, coming off the Inactive List ranked 126, pinned unranked Lars Only. King picked up 2 points. Only entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 28 points. 


     In a Women's Tag Team Division match, Miss Tessmacher and Tara, coming off the Inactive List ranked #1 defeated #1 Gail Kim and Madison Rayne when Brooke pinned Rayne. Tara and Tess picked up 30 points plus 47 bonus points to rank them ahead of Kim and Rayne, who lost 1 point.

#30 Davey Richards vs. #71 Mike Mondo went to a time limit draw. Mondo picked up 9 points plus 293 bonus points to bring him even with Richards in the Rankings. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. The American Wolf  lost 11 points.

Unranked Jay Briscoe defeated Charlie Haas, coming off the Inactive List ranked #97,  in a Texas Death Match.  Briscoe picked up 4 points. Haas  lost 30 points.

#75 Adam Cole defeated ROH T.V. Champion #25 Roderick Strong, #86 Kyle O'Reilly, and unranked B.J. Whitmer in a Non-Title 4 Corners Match when he pinned the Champ. Cole picked up points plus 357 bonus points to rank him ahead of Strong. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

#26 Cody Rhoads pinned Inter-Continental Champion #6 Christian in a non-title match. Cody picked up 25 points plus 672 bonus points to rank him ahead of Christian. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month.  The Champ lost 14 points.

#13 Dolph Ziggler pinned. #87 Alex Riley. Dolph picked up 5 points. A-Ry lost 11 points.

#40 Ryback pinned #95 Curt Hawkins. Ryback earned 4 points. Hawkins lost 16 points.

#94 Zack Ryder won a 20 Man Battle Royal [the other contestants were John Cena, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Jack Swagger,Tensai, C.M.Punk, Heath Slater, Daniel Bryan, Brodus Clay, Dolph Ziggler, Khali, Justin Gabriel,Santino Marella, Kofi Kingston, Christian, Ezekial Jackson, Damien Sandow, and Cody Rhoads.]. Zack picked up 55 point plus 2491 bonus points to rank him higher than Del Rio.. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

     In a 6 Man Tag team match,Santino Marella, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and Sgt.Slaughter defeated Hunico, Camacho, and Drew McIntyre when Santino pinned Hunico.


     In a Mixed Tag Team Match, The Great Khali and Layla defeated Antonio Cesaro and Aksana when Layla pinned Aksana.

#97 Heath Slater pinned  Doink [AKA Brooklyn Brawler] coming off the Inactive List ranked #82. Slater picked up 6 points. Doink lost 27 points

#11 The Big Show pnned #5 Kane in a No-DQ Match. Show picked up 26 points plus 271 bonus points to rank him ahead of Kane, who lost 11 points plus his 898 bonus points.

#66 Tyson Kidd pinned #41 Tensai. Kidd picked up 14 points plus 540 bonus points to rank him ahead of Tensai, who lost 22 points

     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, C.M. Punk and John Cena, coming off the Inactive List ranked #29 vs. Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan, coming off the Inactive List ranked #32 ended in a No-Contest. Each team received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


     In an 8 Man Tag Team match, Kofi Kingston, R-Truth, Santino Marella, and Christian defeated David Otunga, Cody Rhodes, Darren Young, and Titus O'Neil when Santino pinned Otunga.

     In a Mixed Tag Team Match, Sheamus and A.J. vs Dolph Ziggler and Vicki Guerrero when A.J. pinned Vicki.
