World Heavyweight Champion Alberto del Rio defeated #4 the Big Show in a Last Man Standing Match when Ricardo Rodriguez duct taped Show's ankles to the ropes. The Champ picked up 27 points. Show lost 1 point.
John Cena won the 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. Cena picked up 65 points. The other contestants were [in order of entry] : Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, Kofi Kingston, Santino Marella, Drew McIntyre, Titus O'Neil, Goldust, David Otunga, Heath Slater, Sheamus, Tensai, Brodus Clay, Rey Mysterio, Darren Young, Bo Dallas, The Godfather, Wade Barrett, Damien Sandow, Daniel Bryan, Antonio Cesaro, Khali, Zack Ryder, Randy Orton, Jinder Mahal, Miz, Sin Cara, and Ryback. These wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.
The Rock, coming off the Inactive List ranked #53 pinned WWE Champion C.M. Punk [after the match was restarted] to win the title. The Rock picked up 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the championship
plus 2338 bonus points to rank him ahead of Punk. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month.
In a Men's Tag Team Division match, WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan defeated #5 Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow when D-Bry forced the Intellectual Savior to tap out. Team Hell No picked up 26 points. Team Rhodes Scholars lost 1 point.
