When The Miz lost to Roman Reigns on the 8/22/14 episode of Smackdown it was his 100th televised singles loss!
Miz is just the 4th wrestler to loss 100 matches [behind only Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Kofi Kingston] and just the 3nd to register triple digit wins AND losses [Dolph and Kofi being the others]. Others closing in on the century mark for losses as of 8/22/14 are: Zack Ryder [92] and Randy Orton [90].
[NOTE: these records count t.v. and ppv singles matches since Nov. 2006 ONLY].

ReplyDeleteI posted an above comment saying it was ridiculous that Miz has only lost 100 times, but I guess I just noticed you were only counting SINGLES losses.
ReplyDeleteI counted them, and it's actually 105, but you're obviously not counting Armageddon 2004 nor the 4 Kickoff matches he's worked.
I think not counting Kick-Offs is a mistake. They all take place on the WWE Network just like the "special events" (not PPVs anymore). I really don't get the argument for excluding them.
HI!
DeleteThanks for the input! I actually started counting Kickoff matches since the WWE Network went online. Any Kickoff results before that time were not counted. Keep in touch!
