In a Men's Division match, unranked Jay-Cobs defeated WWC Jr Heavyweight Champion Tommy Diablo and #85 Angel Cotto in a Triple Threat Match to win the Title when he pinned Diablo by using the ropes for leverage. Cobs picked up 48 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championship. Mr. San Juan and Awesome Angel each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points. After the match Cobs and Cotto attacked Diablo until O.T. Fernandez made the save.
In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #10 La Revolucion defeated #12 Thunder and Lightning to win the vacant WWC World Tag Team Championships when Lightning was pinned after outside interference by El Chicano.La Revolucion picked up 20 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Titles. T&L lost 10 points. During the match original referee Peyalito Vasquez brawled with Orlando Toledo from ringside to the locker room where he was attacked by Chicano.
