When Alberto Del Rio and Carlito wrestled to a No-Contest on the 1/22/17 episode of WWC Superestrellas de Lucha Libre it was Del Rio's 300th televised match as a singles wrestler, making him only the 9th man [behind Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, Sheamus, Jack Swagger, John Cena, Kane, and The Miz] to have wrestled that many televised singles matches! He is also the first man to have wrestled any of the 300 matches outside of the WWE. While the vast majority of his televised matches since 11/2006 were with WWE, Del Rio [aka Alberto El Patron] has also wrestled on TV for Ring Of Honor, Lucha Underground, and WWC during this time.
[NOTE: these records count t.v. and ppv singles matches since Nov. 2006 ONLY].
