WWE ROYAL RUMBLE AND KICKOFF SHOW RESULTS: 1/29/17

In Men's Division action:

WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens pinned #7 Roman Reigns in a No DQ Match with Chris Jericho suspended above the ring in a Shark Cage due to outside interference by Braun Strowman. Owens earned 24 points. Reigns lost 1 point.


#52 Neville defeated WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann by submission to win the Title. Neville earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championship. Swann lost 15 points.


#1 John Cena pinned WWE World Champion A.J. Styles to win the Title. Cena earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championship. The Phenomenal One lost 1 point.


#3 Randy Orton eliminated #7 Roman Reigns to win the Royal Rumble Match. The other participants were: #18[IL] The Undertaker, #110 Bill Goldberg, #61 Brock Lesnar, #12 Big Show, #2 Dean Ambrose, #15 The Miz, #87 Sami Zayn, #10 Dolph Ziggler, #48 Big E Langston, #215 Xavier Woods, #46 Kofi Kingston, #42[IL] Bray Wyatt, #180 Luke Harper, #134 Mojo Rawley, #4 Braun Strowman, #35 Chris Jericho, #58 Baron Corbin, #29 Cesaro, #5 Sheamus, #125 Big Cass, #17 Rusev, #9 Kalisto, #135 Jack Gallagher, #26 Mark Henry, #213 Tye Dillinger, #98 James Ellsworth, #77 Apollo Crews, and #147 Enzo Amore. The Viper earned 59 points. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


In Women's Division action:

#17 Nia Jax pinned #9 Sasha Banks earning 22 points. The Boss lost 11 points.


WWE RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair pinned #16 Bayley earning 20 points. Bayley lost 1 point.


     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #6 Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows defeated WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Sheamus to win the Titles when Anderson pinned Cesaro by pulling his tights. The Club picked up 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championships. Sheamus and Cesaro lost 6 points.


     In a 6 Woman Tag Team match, Nikki Bella, Becky Lynch, and Naomi defeated Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, and Natalya Neidhart when Naomi pinned Bliss.
