WWE BATTLEGROUND AND KICKOFF SHOW RESULTS: 7/23/17

In Men's Division action:

#201 Aiden English pinned #235 Tye Dillinger earning 3 points. The Perfect 10 lost 28 points. 


#9 Shinsuke Nakamura defeated #5 Baron Corbin by DQ when Corbin kicked him low. The King Of Strong Style picked up 1 point. The Lone Wolf lost 1 point. After the match Corbin attacked Nakamura.


#12 Kevin Owens pinned WWE United States Champion #4 A.J. Styles to win the title. KO earned 27 points plus 10 bonus points for winning the championship. The Phenomenal One lost 11 points.


#1 John Cena defeated #22[IL] Rusev in a Flag Match earning 19 points. The Bulgarian Brute lost 1 point.


#74 Sami Zayn pinned #72 Mike Kanellis earning 14 points. Kanellis lost 17 points. Maria Kanellis got involved in the match.


WWE Champion Jinder Mahal defeated #2 Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison Match due to outside interference by The Great Khali. The Maharajah picked up 29 points. The Viper lost 1 point. The Singh Brothers also got involved in the match.


     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #19[IL] Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods defeated WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso when Woods pinned Jimmy. The New Day earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championships. The Usos lost 11 points.


     In a Women's Division match, #7 Natalya Neidhart defeated #4 Charlotte Flair, #3 Becky Lynch, #20 Tamina Snuka, and #51 Lana in a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Match when she pinned Flair [the others had been eliminated earlier in the match]. Neidhart earned 91 points. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


ALSO: Someone attacked Fandango and Tyler Breeze in their office.
