WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: 8/21/20

In Men's Division action:

#16 Big E. Langston pinned #29 Sheamus due to the distraction of King Corbin and Matt Riddle brawling at ringside. Big E picked up 19 points. The Celtic Warrior lost 11 points.


#15 Jeff Hardy pinned WWE Inter-Continental Champion #4 A.J. Styles to win the title. The Charismatic Enigma earned 27 points plus 10 bonus points for winning the championship. The Phenomenal One lost 11 points.


In Women's Division action:

Raw Women's Champion Sasha Banks defeated #14 Naomi by submission earning 20 points. Naomi lost 1 point.


#14 Naomi pinned SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley in a non-title match earning 35 points. The Champ lost 11 points. After the match Asuka attacked The Golden Role Models.

     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated #42 Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado when The Swiss Superman pinned Dorado. The Champs earned 17 points. The Lucha House Party lost 1 point. 

ALSO:

Retribution attacked Braun Strowman during an in-ring segment until almost the entire roster made the save. The Monster then attacked Drew Gulak and Jey Uso.


Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt brawled from the Firefly Funhouse to the loading dock area.
