SMACKDOWN RECAP: 12/30/11

In Men's Division action:
#88. Jinder Mahal defeated #72. Ted DiBiase. Mahal picked up 8 points, DiBiase lost 26 points plus his 114 bonus points.
#41. Ezekiel Jackson defeated #46. Drew McIntyre. Zeke gained 13 points, Drew lost 17 points.
#56. Hunico defeated #59. Justin Gabriel. Hunico picked up 11 points, Gabriel lost 20 points.
#19. Big Show defeated #85. David Otunga. Show earned 6 points, Otunga lost 12 points.
#6. Sheamus defeated #91. Heath Slater. Sheamus picked up 4 points, Slater lost 6 points.
#1. Randy Orton went to a no-contest with  #28. Wade Barrett in a Falls Count Anywhere Match. They each recieved a No-Decision on their records but lost no points.

In a Women's Tag Team Division match,  unranked Alicia Fox and Kaitlyn defeated unranked Natalya Neidhart and Tamina. Fox and Kaitlyn picked up 2 points. Neidhart and Tamina entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 30 points.

TNA IMPACT RECAP airdate 12/29/11

In Men's Division action:
#79. Zema Ion defeated #77. Anthony Nese in a Contract on a Pole Match. Ion picked up 7 points, Nese lost 29 points.
Douglas Williams came off the Inactive List ranked # 35 and defeated #58. Gunner by dq. Williams gained 1 point, Gunner lost 1 point.
#10. Kurt Angle defeated #25. RVD by dq. Kurt gained 1 point, RVD lost 1 point.

In Men's Tag Team Division action:
#39. AJ Styles & Kazarian defeated #22. Scott Steiner & Abyss. A.J. and Kaz picked up 18 points, Scott and Abyss lost 16 points.
#22. Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus def. #22. Eric Young & ODB. Joe and Magnus picked up 18 points, EY and ODB lost 13 points.

In a Women's Division match, TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim defeated #1. Mickie James to retain the title. Kim earned 30 points, Mickie lost 1 point.

RAW RECAP: 12/26/11

In Men's Division action:
In a Gauntlet Match, WWE Champion C.M. Punk defeated #47 Jack Swagger then lost to #14 Dolph Ziggler. Punk recieved a win and a loss on his record and picked up 2 points. Swagger lost 1 points. Ziggler picked up 35 points plus 798 bonus points to give him more points than Punk. He'll keep these bonus points until he either loses a televised match [other than by dq] or does not wrestle a televised match for one calendar month. He'll also get a title match vs. Punk on next week's Raw.

#2 John Cena defeated #17 The Miz by countout. Cena gained 19 points, Miz lost 2 points.

#19 The Big Show [with 1 arm tied behind his back] defeated #84 David Otunga by dq. due to outside interference by Mark Henry. Show got a point, Otunga lost a point.

#45 Booker T defeated InterContinental Champ Cody Rhodes in a non-title match. Cody lost 17 points, Booker picked up 17 points plus 131 bonus points to put him ahead of Cody in the Rankings. He'll keep these bonus points until he either loses a televised match [other than by dq] or does not wrestle a televised match for one calendar month.

In a Mixed Tag Team Match, Zack Ryder and Eve Torres defeated Tyson Kidd and Natalya Neidhart.

RECAP OF THE WEEK IN WRESTLING, 12/18/11-12/24/11

      There were 4 televised title changes this week. Zack Ryder defeated WWE United States Champion Dolph Ziggler to win the title at TLC Sunday night. Also at TLC  Big Show defeated World Champion Mark Henry  in a Chairs Match to win the title then Daniel Bryan cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated World Champion Big Show to win the title. At ROH's FINAL BATTLE Friday night, Jay & Mark Briscoe defeated ROH World Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas to win the titles.

The BIG JUMP of the week went to Daniel Bryan, who jumped from #43 to World Champion with his victory over the Big Show at TLC. This week's BIGGEST DROP went to Wade Barrett. His losses to Randy Orton at TLC and on Raw dropped him from #1 to #28
