WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: airdate 3/8/13

In Men's Division action:

#9 Ryback pinned #50 Damien Sandow. The Big Hungry picked up 13 points. The Intellectual Savior lost 9 points.

World Champion Alberto Del Rio defeated #11 Dolph Ziggler by submission. The Champ picked up 20 points. The Show Off lost 1 point.

#4 Mark Henry pinned #139 Yoshi Tatsu. The World's Strongest Man picked up 3 points. Tatsu lost 4 points.

#3 Sheamus vs #7 Big Show ended in a No-Contest due to outside interference by the Sheild and Randy Orton. Each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


     In a Women's Division match, #14 Tamina Snuka defeated Diva's Champion Kaitlyn in a non-title match.  Snuka picked up 35 points plus 192 bonus points to give her more points than Kaitlyn. She'll keep these points until she either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. The Champ lost 11 points plus her 1351 bonus points.


     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Kane defeated #53 Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal.  The Champs picked up 12 points. 3MB lost 1 point.

TNA IMPACT RESULTS: 3/7/13

In Men's Division action:

World Champion Jeff Hardy defeated #19 Austin Aries by DQ due to outside interference by Matt Morgan. The Champ picked up 1 point. A Double lost 1 point.

TV Champion #43 Devon pinned #20 Sting. The champ picked up 19 points  plus 393 bonus points to rank him ahead of Sting. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. Sting lost 17 points.

#33 Mr. Anderson pinned #22 James Storm.  Anderson picked up 18 points. The Cowboy lost 15 points plus his 505 bonus points.

     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, Magnus and Samoa Joe, coming off the Inactive List ranked #2, defeated unranked D.O.C. and Garrett Bischoff. Magnus and Joe earned 2 points. Aces & *'s entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 2 points.

     In a 6 Person Tag Team match, Christopher Daniels, Kazarian, and Gail Kim defeated Chavo Guerrero, Hernandez, and Velvet Sky when Kim pinned Sky.

#5 Randy Orton pinned Inter-Continental Champion #16 Wade Barrett in a non-title match.  The Viper picked up 19 points. The champ lost 5 points.

#35 Cody Rhodes pinned #150 Zack Ryder.  Rhodes picked up 3 points.  The Long Island Iced Z lost 15 points.

#55 Sin Cara pinned U.S. Champion #40 Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match.  Cara picked up 15 points plus 135 bonus points to rank him ahead of Cesaro. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month.
The champ lost 19 points.

In Men's Division action:

#9 Ryback pinned  U.S. Champion #42 Antonio Cesaro in a non-title match.  The Big Hungry picked up 14 points. The champ lost 9 points.

#3 Mark Henry pinned #145 Zack Ryder. The World's Strongest Man picked up 3 points. The Long Island Iced Z lost 3 points.

#16 Miz defeated #10 Dolph Ziggler by submission.  Miz earned 21 points plus 346 bonus points to rank him ahead of  Ziggler. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. The Show Off lost 12 points.

#1 Jack Swagger vs Hacksaw Jim Duggan, coming off the Inactive List ranked #89, was a No-Contest when the Real American attacked Duggan before the match started. Each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

In Men's Tag Team Division action:

Tag Team Champions Daniel Bryan and Kane defeated #4 Darren Young and Titus O'Neil when Kane pinned Young.  Team Hell No earned 27 points. The Prime Time Players lost 1 point.

#10 Brodus Clay and Tensai defeated #52 Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater when Tensai pinned McIntyre. Clay and Tensai picked up 12 points. 3MB lost 10 points.

Billy Gunn and the Road Dogg, coming off the Retired List ranked #50, defeated #11 Epico and Primo when Gunn pinned Primo. The New Age Outlaws earned 20 points plus 103 bonus points to rank them ahead of the Colons, who lost 18 points.

In Men's Division action:

World Champion Kevin Steen pinned #28 Jay Lethal.  The Champ picked up 17 points.  Lethal lost 1 point.


#118 Matt Taven pinned TV Champion #51 Adam Cole to win the title.  Taven picked up 12 points plus 10 points for winning the championship, plus 137 bonus points to rank him ahead of Cole. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by DQ] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. Cole lost 28 points.


#70 Michael Elgin defeated  #54 Roderick Strong  2 falls to 1. Elgin picked up 12 points plus 41 bonus points to rank him ahead of Strong, who lost 22 points.


#159 B.J. Whitmer defeated Charlie Haas, coming off the Inactive List ranked #43, when the referee stopped the match.  Whitmer picked up 14 points. Haas lost 28 points.


#187 ACH pinned #127 Silas Young in a  6 Man Mayhem Match. The other participants were #96 Q.T. Marshall, #115 Mike Sydal, #189 Adam Page, and #119 Tadarius Thomas. ACH earned 16 points plus 16 bonus points to rank him ahead of Marshall. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


In Men's Tag Team Division action:

#7 Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly defeated Tag Team Champions the Briscoes to win the titles when Fish pinned Jay. Fish and O'Reilly earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the championships plus 195 bonus points to give them more points than Dem Boyz, who lost 7 points. 


#20 Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards defeated unranked Alex Koslov and Rocky Romero. The American Wolves earned 2 points. Koslov and Romero entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 12 points.


#8 Jimmy Jacobs and Steve Corino defeated #41 Caprice Coleman and Cedric Alexander. SCUM earned 14 points. C&C lost 8 points.
