ROH FINAL BATTLE RECAP 12/23/11

In Men's Division action:

#68. Michael Elgin defeated #70. T.J. Perkins. Elgin picked up 9 points, Perkins dropped 22 points.

#63. Tommaso Ciampa defeated Jimmy Rave, coming off the Inactive List ranked # 55. Ciampa picked up 12 points, Rave lost 21 points.

#34. World TV Champion Jay Lethal defeated #35. El Generico and #36. Mike Bennett to retain the title. Lethal picked up 31 points. Generico and Bennett each recieve a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

ROH World Champion Davey Richards defeated #62. Eddie Edwards to retain the title. Richards gained 10 points, Edwards lost 1 point.

Unranked Kevin Steen defeated unranked Steve Corino in a No Disqualification Match. Steen gained 2 points. Corino entered the Rankings with a 0-1-0 record and minus 30 points.

#65. Roderick Strong defeated unranked Chris Hero. Strong picked up 2 points, Hero entered the Rankings with a 0-1-0 record and minus 21 points.



In Men's Tag Team Division action:
#12. Jay & Mark Briscoe defeated ROH World Tag Team Champions Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas to win the titles. The Briscoes earned 35 points plus a 20 point bonus for winning the titles. The WGTT lost 11 points.

 In a Tag Team Gauntlet Match. #17 Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander defeated  #60 The Bravados then lost to  #30 Future Shock.  #38 The Young Bucks then defeated Future Shock and then #15 The All Night Express to win the match.  The Bucks picked up 2 wins and 37 points plus 4 bonus points. C&C got a win and a loss and lost 3 points. Future Shock got a win and a loss and gained 3 points. The Express got a loss and lost 16 points plus their 23 bonus points.

SMACKDOWN RECAP airdate 12/23/11

In Men's Division action:
#13.United States Champion Zack Ryder defeated #29. Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes in a non-title match. Zack picked up 17 points, Cody lost 11 points.

#6.Sheamus defeated #2.The Miz. Sheamus picked up 29 points. Miz lost 6 points plus his 1,404 bonus points.

World Champion Daniel Bryan and #15. Dolph Ziggler went to a no-contest. Each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

#11. Kofi Kingston defeated #94. Primo. Kofi gained 4 points, Primo lost 11 points.

In a Men's Tag Team Division match, unranked Daniel Bryan and the Big Show defeated #39. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger. D-Bry and Show picked up 15 points, Ziggler and Swagger lost 30 points.

TNA IMPACT RECAP airdate 12/22/11

In a Men's Division matchup,  #118 Anthony Nese defeated #72.  Zema Ion. Nese picked up 8 points, Ion lost 28 points.

In a Women's Division match, #20. Ms.Tessmacher and #6. Tara went to a NO CONTEST. They each recieved a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

In Men's Tag Team Division action:

Unranked ODB and Eric Young defeated unranked Anarquia and Shannon Moore. ODB and EY picked up 2 points, Anarquia and Moore entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 30 points. NOTE: since this is a Men's Tag Team Division tournament, ODB & EY are considered a Men's Tag Team rather than a mixed tag team.

Unranked Sting and Jeff Hardy defeated Bobby Roode and Bully Ray, coming off the Retired List ranked #51. Roode and Ray lost 30 points, Sting and Hardy picked up 12 points.

A.J. Styles and Kazarian came off the Inactive List ranked #27 and defeated unranked RVD and Christopher Daniels.  A.J. and Kazarian picked up 2 points, RVD and Daniels entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 14 points.

In Men's Division action:

#1. Randy Orton defeated #28. Wade Barrett by dq. RKO picked up 1 point, Wade lost 1 point.

#6. Sheamus defeated #86. Jindar Mahal. Sheamus picked up 5 points. Mahal lost 6 points.

#29. Cody Rhodes defeated #98. Santino Marella. Cody gained 4 points, Marella lost 14 points.

In a Women's Division match, #8. Alicia Fox defeated Diva's Champion Beth Phoenix in a non-title match. Phoenix lost 8 points. Fox picked up 35 points plus 848 bonus points to give her more points than Beth. She'll keep these bonus points until she either loses a televised match [other than by dq] or does not wrestle a televised match for one calendar month.

In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #7. Epico and Primo defeated #6. the Usos. The Usos lost 7 points, Epico and Primo picked up 25 points plus 33 bonus points.

In a 6 man tag match, C.M. Punk, Zack Ryder, and Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, and the Miz

TLC RECAP: 12/18/11

In Men's Division action:

#14. Zack Ryder defeated United States Champion # 15. Dolph Ziggler to win the title. Zack picked up 20 points for beating Dolph plus a 10 point bonus for winning the title. Dolph lost 11 points.

#2.Randy Orton defeated #1. Wade Barrett in a Tables Match. RKO picked up 29 points, Wade lost 2 points plus his 1,778 bonus points.

#5. Triple H, came off the Inactive List ranked and defeated  #47. Kevin Nash in a Ladder Match, with a Sledgehammer hanging above the ring. Nash lost 5 points, HHH picked up 13 points.

#6. Sheamus defeated #45. Jack Swagger. Sheamus picked up 14 points, Swagger lost 6 points.

 #13. Big Show defeated World Champion Mark Henry  in a Chairs Match to win the title. Show earned 35 points for defeating Henry plus 20 bonus points for winning the title. Henry lost 11 points.

#43. Daniel Bryan cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated World Champion Big Show to win the title. Bryan earned 35 points for defeating Big Show  plus 20 bonus points for winning the title, plus 418 bonus points to give him more points than Big Show.will keep these bonus points until they either lose a televised match [other than by dq] or do not wrestle a televised match for one calendar month. Show lost 17 points plus his 211 bonus points.

Intercontinental Champion #28. Cody Rhodes defeated Booker T, coming off the Inactive List ranked  #38. Cody earned 15 points. Booker lost 14 points.

WWE Champion CM Punk defeated #12. Alberto Del Rio vs. #3. The Miz in a Triple Threat TLC Match to retain the title. Punk got 48 points, Del Rio and Miz each got a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


In a Men's Tag Team Division match, WWE Tag Team Champions Air Boom defeated #3. Primo & Epico to retain the titles. The Champs picked up 28 points, Epico and Primo lost 1 point plus their 104 bonus points.

In a Women's Division match, Divas Champion Beth Phoenix defeated #3. Kelly Kelly to retain the title. Beth picked up 28 points, Kelly lost 1 point.

RECAP OF THE WEEK IN WRESTLING, 12/18/11-12/24/11

There were no televised title changes this week.

The BIG JUMP of the week went to James Storm, who jumped from #87 to #9 with his victory over Kurt Angle at Final Resolution. This week's BIGGEST DROP went to the team of DeVon and the Pope. Their loss to Crimson and Matt Morgan, also at Final Resolution dropped them from #1 to #7, and from what happened on Impact it does not looklike will be seeing this team again any time soon!
