In Men's Division action, #121 Dragon Rojo Jr. defeated CMLL World Middleweight Champion Jushin Liger 2 falls to 1 to win the title. Liger lost 21 points, Dragon earned 18 points plus 20 points for winning a world title, plus 333 bonus points to put him ahead of Liger. He'll keep these bonus points until he either loses a televised match [other than by dq] or does not wrestle a televised match for one calendar month.
In a Trios match, Delta, Guerrero Maya, and Metro defeated Shigeo Okumura, Yoshihashi, and Vangelis 2 falls to 1.
On Nov. 11, 2011 Hector Garza announced he was leaving CMLL and the World Heavyweight Title was vacated.
