ROH SHOWDOWN IN THE SUN DAY 1: 3/30/12

In Men's Division action:

ROH World Champion Davey Richards defeated  #51 Eddie Edwards and #58 Roderick Strong in a Triple Threat Elimination Match.  The Champ picked up 23 points. Edwards and Strong each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.

#50 Mike Bennett defeated unranked Lance Storm.  Bennett picked up 2 points, Storm lost 18 points.

World TV Champion #25 Jay Lethal defeated #117 Kyle O'Reilly. Jay picked up
3 points, Kyle lost 13 points

#53 Kevin Steen defeated El Generico, coming off the Inactive List ranked #56, in a Last Man Standing Match. Steen picked up 11 points, Generico lost 19 points.


#64 Adam Cole defeated NWA World Champion Adam Pierce in a Non-Title match. Cole picked up 35 points plus 130 bonus points to give him more points than Pierce. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by dq] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. Pierce lost 21 points.

In Men's Tag Team Division action:


#23 The All Night Express defeated #31 The Young Bucks in a Tornado Match. The Express picked up 16 points, the Bucks lost 13 points

ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay & Mark Briscoe defeated  unranked Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste. The Champs picked up 2 points, Nicholls and
Haste entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 1 point.

#24 Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin defeated #33 Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander. The WGTT picked up 16 points, C&C lost 13 points.
