WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: airdate 3/9//12

In Men's Division action:
#36 U.S. Champion Santino Marella defeated #37 Jack Swagger  in a Steel Cage Match. Santino picked up 15 points, Swagger lost 16 points.

#59 Drew McIntyre defeated #43 Hornswoggle. Drew picked up 14 points plus bonus 79 points to rank him ahead of Hornswoggle. He'll keep these points until he either loses a televised match [other than by dq] or does not wrestle a televised singles match for 1 calendar month. Hornswoggle lost 20 points.

#11 Mark Henry defeated #41 Ezekiel Jackson. Henry earned 14 points, Zeke lost 11 points.

Teddy Long came off the Retired List ranked #127 and defeated unranked John Laurinaitis. Long gained 2 points. Laurinaitis entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 28 points.


     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #11 Kofi Kingston and R-Truth defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo in a non-title match. Kofi and Truth picked up 35 points plus 219 bonus points to give them more points then the Champs, who lost 11 points.

     In a 6 Man Tag match, Randy Orton, Big Show, and Sheamus defeated  Daniel Bryan, Cody Rhodes, and The Miz.
