WWE SMACKDOWN RESULTS: airdate 8/16/13

In Men's Division action:

#1 Christian pinned #53 Damien Sandow. Capt. Charisma picked up 12 points. The Intellectual Savior lost 1 point. After the match Alberto Del Rio attacked Christian, but Christian made the come back.


#19 The Miz pinned #47 Jack Swagger. Miz picked up 13 points. The Real American lost 12 points.


Inter-Continental Champion #14 Curtis Axel pinned #151 Zack Ryder. The champ picked up 3 points. The Long Island Iced Z lost 11 points.


#23 Daniel Bryan pinned #22 Wade Barrett in a No DQ Match. in spite of outside interference by Vince McMahon, who took out the original referee. [Brad Maddox replaced the original ref, then HHH replaced Maddox to count the pinfall]. Bryan picked up 18 points. Barrett lost 13 points plus his 27 bonus points.

     In a Women's Tag Team Division match, unranked A.J. Lee and Layla defeated #9[IA] Kaitlyn and Natalya Neidhart when Lee pinned Kaitlyn. Lee and Layla picked up 22 points. Kaitlyn and Neidhart lost 30 points.


     In a 6 Man Tag Team match, Rob Van Dam, Big Show and Mark Henry defeated Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose when RVD pinned Ambrose.


ALSO:

Kane attacked the Wyatt Family during an in-ring promo but was laid out by the Family.

Ryback attacked a back stage official.
