WWE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS RESULTS: 9/21/14


In Men's Division action:

United States Champion #4 Sheamus pinned #26 Cesaro. The Celtic Warrior earned 19 points. The Swiss Superman lost 4 points.



#14 The Miz pinned Inter-Continental Champion #9 Dolph Ziggler to win the title by pulling his trunks. Miz picked up 22 points plus 10 bonus points for winning the championship plus 189 bonus points* to rank him ahead of The Show Off, who lost 11 points. During the match R-Truth and the Florida-Georgia Line attacked Damien Sandow outside of the ring.



#13 Rusev defeated #12 Mark Henry by submission. The Super Athlete earned 20 points plus 495 bonus points* to rank him ahead of the World's Strongest Man, who lost 11 points.



#2 Randy Orton pinned #10 Chris Jericho. The Viper earned 21 points. Y2J lost 2 points plus his 162 bonus points.



#3 John Cena defeated WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar by DQ due to outside interference by Seth Rollins. Cena picked up 1 point. The Beast lost 1 point. Lesnar attacked Cena after the match.



     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #3 Goldust and Stardust defeated WWE Tag Team Champions Jimmy and Jey Uso to win the titles when Stardust pinned Jey. The Rhodes Brothers earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championships. The Usos lost 3 points.



     In a Women's Division match, #2 A.J. Lee defeated WWE Divas Champion Paige and #14 Nikki Bella in a Triple Threat Match to win the title when she forced Paige to submit. Lee earned 55 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championship. Paige and Bella each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.


ALSO: Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose brawled during an in-ring segment.
