On 2/14/16 in Niigata, Japan #34 Kenny Omega defeated #77 Hiroshi Tanahashi to win the vacant IWGP Inter-Continental Championship. Omega picked up 14 points plus 10 bonus points for winning the title. Tanahashi lost 13 points.
