In a Men's Division match, #37 Volador Jr pinned #70[IL] Tama Tonga to win the 2016 CMLL Gran Prix 16 Man Torneo Cibernetico. The other competitors were: #39[IL] Diamante Azul, #31 Ultimo Guerrero, #36 Rush, CMLL Light Heavyweight Champion La Mascara, CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Maximo, #135 Shocker, #59 Rey Escorpion, #46 Michael Elgin, #175[IL] Tonga Roa, #125 Marco Corleone, #106[IL] Okumura, unranked Sam Adonis, unranked Johnny Idol, and IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion Kushida. Volador earned 51 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the torneo. Tama Tonga picked up 10 points as torneo runner up. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points. Rush turned on La Mascara during the match pulling his mask off.
