WWE RAW RESULTS: 8/29/16


In Men's Division action:

#31 Chris Jericho defeated #48 Neville by submission earning 17 points. Neville lost 13 points.



#6 Sami Zayn pinned #211 Jinder Mahal earning 3 points. The Maharaja lost 6 points.



#5 Sheamus defeated #29 Cesaro by submission earning 19 points. The Swiss Superman lost 5 points.



#107 Braun Strowman pinned unranked Americo earning 2 points. Americo entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 20 points. After the match Strowman pulled Americo's mask off.



#203 Darren Young pinned #214 Titus O’Neil earning 3 points. O'Neil lost 28 points. After the match O'Neil attacked Young and Bob Backlund.



#18 Kevin Owens defeated #15 Seth Rollins, #14 Roman Reigns, and #130 Big Cass in a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match to win the vacant WWE Universal Championship when he pinned Rollins due to outside interference by Triple H. Reigns and Cass had been eliminated earlier in the match, Reigns also due to outside interference by HHH. Owens picked up 49 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Title. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.



     In a Women's Division match, #18 Nia Jax pinned unranked Hyan earning 2 points. Hyan entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 11 points.



    In a 6 Person Tag Team match, Big E Langston, Kofi Kingston, and Bayley defeated Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, and Dana Brooke when Bayley pinned Brooke.



ALSO:

Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Big Cass brawled during an in-ring segment.
