TNA BOUND FOR GLORY RESULTS: 10/2/16


In Men's Division action:

TNA X-Division Champion DJ-Z pinned #58 Trevor Lee earning 16 points. Lee lost 1 point.



#85 Eli Drake defeated #198 Basile Baraka, #84 Braxton Sutter, #91 Mahabali Shera, #155 Baron Dax, #41 Tyrus, #111 Grado, #134 Rockstar Spud, #182 Jessie Godderz, and #183 Robbie E in the Bound For Gold Gauntlet Match when he eliminated Tyrus and Mr. Pec-Tacular.  Drake earned 27 points. The other wrestlers each received a "No-Decision" on their records but lost no points.



 #71 Moose pinned #95 Mike Bennett earning 12 points. The Miracle lost 17 points.



#51 Aron Rex defeated #78 Eddie Edwards in the TNA Impact Grand Championship Final Match by judges' decision to become the first TNA Grand Champion. Rex earned 14 points, plus 20 points for winning the tournament, plus 10 bonus points for winning the championship. Edwards lost 15 points.



TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley pinned #24 Ethan Carter 3rd in a No Holds Barred Match earning 19 points. EC3 lost 1 point.



     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #16 Jeff and Matt Hardy defeated TNA World Tag Team Champions Abyss and Crazzy Steve in a Great War Match [Falls Count Anywhere] to win the Championships when Jeff pinned Steve. The Hardys earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Titles. Decay lost 11 points. Reby Hardy and Rosemary got involved in the match.



     In a Women's Division match, #1 Gail Kim pinned TNA Knockouts Champion Maria Kanellis to win the Championship. Kim earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Title. The First Lady lost 1 point. Mike Bennett and Allie got involved in the match. After the match Cody and Brandi Rhodes attacked The Miracle and Maria.



ALSO: Gail Kim was inducted into the TNA Hall Of Fame.
