In a Men's Division match, #64 Tetsuya Naito pinned IWGP US Champion #47 Kenny Omega in a non-title match to win the 2017 G1 Tournament. Naito earned 17 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the tournament. The Cleaner lost 16 points but received 10 bonus points as tournament runner up.

#115[IL] Will Ospreay defeated IWGP Jr Heavyweight Champion Kushida on 10/9/17 to win the Title. Ospreay earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championship. Kushida lost 21 points.
#61 Sho Tanaka and Yohei Komatsu defeated IWGP Jr Tag Team Champions Ricochet and Ryusuke Taguchi on 10/9/17 to win the Titles. Roppongi 3K earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championships. The Funky Future lost 16 points.
