#127 Sanada defeated #203 Colt Cabana earning 3 points. Cabana lost 22 points.


#41 Kazuchika Okada pinned IWGP NEVER Openweight Champion #49 Will Ospreay in a non-title match earning 17 points. The Aerial Assassin lost 14 points.


#9 Hiroshi Tanahashi pinned #204 Zack Sabre Jr earning 3 points. ZSJ lost 9 points.


Semi-Finals:

#41 Kazuchika Okada pinned #152 Tomohiro Ishii earning 6 points. The Stone Pit Bull lost 14 points.


#127 Sanada defeated #9 Hiroshi Tanahashi by submission earning 22 points. The Ace lost 22 points.


Finals:

#41 Kazuchika Okada pinned #127 Sanada to win the 2019 New Japan Cup. The Rain Maker earned 9 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the tournament. Sanada lost 14 points but recieved 10 points as runner up.
