AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS: 1/5/22

In Men's Division action:

AEW Champion Adam Page pinned #20 Bryan Danielson earning 19 points. The American Dragon lost 1 point.

#275+ Shawn Dean defeated #32 Maxwell J. Friedman by DQ due to outside interference by C.M. Punk. The Captain picked up 1 point. MJF lost 1 point. 

#80 Wardlow pinned unranked Antonio Zambrano earning 2 points. Zambrano entered the Rankings with an 0-1-0 record and minus 18 points.

#64 Aleister Black pinned #225+ Brian Pillman Jr earning 4 points. Pillman lost 16 points.

     In a Women's Division match, #21 Jade Cargill pinned #19 Ruby Soho to win the inaugural TBS Women's Championship. Cargill earned 20 points plus 10 bonus points for winning the title and 20 bonus points for winning the tournament. Soho lost 12 points but received 10 points as tournament runner up. Mercedes Martinez and Thunder Rosa got involved in the match. 

     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #26 Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus defeated AEW Tag Team Champions Penta El 0M and Rey Fenix(2) to win the Titles when JB pinned Penta. The Jurassic Express earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championships. The Lucha Bros lost 12 points. 

ALSO: 

2.0 and Daniel Garcia attacked Chris Jericho during an in-ring segment until The Inner Circle and Eddie Kingston made the save.

Britt Baker and Jamie Hayter attacked Ruby Soho in the interview area until Riho made the save.
