AEW DYNAMITE GRAND SLAM RESULTS: 9/21/22

In Men's Division action:

#112 Chris Jericho pinned ROH World Champion Claudio Castagnoli to win the Title after kicking him low. Jericho picked up 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championship. Castagnoli lost 21 points. 


AEW All-Atlantic Champion #44 Pac pinned #179 Orange Cassidy after hitting with the bell hammer. Pac picked up 6 points. Cassidy lost 14 points.


#30 Jon Moxley defeated #34 Bryan Danielson by Referee Stoppage to win the AEW World Championship Tournament. Moxley earned 18 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Title plus 20 bonus points for winning the tournament. The American Dragon lost 13 points but received 10 bonus points as tournament runner up.


     In a Men's Tag Team Division match, #43 Anthony Bowens and Max Caster defeated AEW Tag Team Champions Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland to win the Titles. The Acclaimed earned 35 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the Championships. Lee and Strickland lost 14 points. Billy Gunn got involved in the match.


     In a Women's Division match, AEW Interim Women's Champion Toni Storm defeated #28 Britt Baker, #29 Athena, and #30 Sereena Deeb in a Fatal 4 Way Match when she pinned Baker. Storm earned 56 points. The other wrestlers each received a No-Decision on their records but lost no points. After the match Baker, Deeb, Jaymie Hayter, and Rebel attacked Storm and Athena until Saraya [aka Paige] made the save.


ALSO: on the 9/19 episode of AEW Dark Elevation ROH 6 Man Tag Team Champions Brandon Tate, Brent Tate, and Dalton Castle defeated Boujii, Rick Recon, and Omar Boujii when Castle scored the pinfall.
