In a Men's Division match, #74 Kazuchika Okada pinned IWGP US Champion #41 Will Ospreay in a non-title match to win the G1 Climax Tournament. The Rain Maker earned 17 points plus 20 bonus points for winning the tournament. Ospreay lost 17 points but received 10 points as tournament runner up.
